CMS uploading image with wwbeditor

Post by megabuik » Mon Jul 08, 2019 10:51 am

My customer use wwbeditor for creating text and sometimes uploading an image in his website.

Suddenly, my customer, can no longer upload an image in his admin form page.
My customer, drag or upload the image in de wwbeditor.

If I try to upload it with the Plugin: Filemanager then I receive: File upload error: Upload failed, please verify the folder's permissions.
When i upload a Filemanagerplus i can upload the image. Put the url in de image, then i see the image.
(When I upload a image with FilleZilla and put the link in the url, then i see also the image.)

But drag or upload the image in de wwbeditor, it won't work.
I suspect he is not uploading the image.

So i tried a lot, like:
- (for a moment) complete access (777) to the public_html folder. (I don't know the path, where the image are saved)
- The database deleted and make it again.
- In the webpage project i remove the CMS Admin and make it again.
- I completely remove the website and only upload the CMS pages.
- (for a moment) Disable all of my filrewalls (router and Windows)
- Disable the certivicate for the https security.

But nothing works.

If it previously worked and you did not change anything then it's most likely a server related issue.

Maybe the server space is full?
Or maybe the host has enabled folder protection?

Pablo, what is the folder where these images are located? Maybe that folder must be individually set to 777?

Thanks Jerryco and Pablo,

But it is not working, however, uploading with the Filemanager is now working.
The folder "files" in the root was missing. I make the folder and i can upload a file to it.
But drag or upload the image in de wwbeditor, it won't work.

To be sure the problem is not the server, i upload the website to a another vps and it is still not working.
Do i missing others files?
If i drag the image to the Content and Save the page, then i click on edit from that page, the image is not there.

Maybe the image is too large?
Did you try a smaller image?

If it worked previously and you if you did not change anything then it cannot be a problem in the application, right?

How exactly are you 'uploading' the image?
If you use the wwbeditor then the image will be embedded in the text and saved directy in the database.

Is there also a nieuws.html or nieuws.htm in the same folder as nieuws.php?
