i agree with you, but disagree when you say "seems to work very weel", you should say "does work very weel" instead ;)
lordivan1 wrote:it could create an option of distance between the top and slide show created
currently, this is not possible
however, you can mimic this putting a transparent layer with borders or a shape or whatever you want over the object to emulate what you want to achieve
lordivan1 wrote:It also does not keep scrolling the page, always getting to the top, regardless of the content below.
this is not possible in a fixed layout design
you must resize/relocate the content constantly to achieve what you are suggesting

did you see the pack contents and have you the thread in full? why not use the included vpatch solution? it has margins as well...

Question - why does enabling "mobile optimized" (scale or no scale) result in the mobile device zooming in and not fitting the site full screen like normal? Is there a way around this?

if you enable zoom in and you do the gesture to zoom in, all of the elements will be zoomed in
if you don't like this option or doesn't fit your design, you can disable it

Re: FullScreen Proportional/Background Pack *** UPD May-21-

Post by Rob »

I’ve managed to build a couple more sites with the same setup as my template – all is working. However, I’d like to take one of those sites and swap out a single image for a slideshow and I can’t seem to get it to work. Is there anything different I need to do to make it work? Again, simply replacing the single image with a WB9 slideshow (same id name).

Please advise. Thank you.

the current available version for download does not support comma separated objects ids
instead, you can add as many instances as you need and should not worry at all about the "overweight" (the lib files are loaded only once and just instance-related pointers are created to these libraries)
each instance can point to image(s) and/or slideshow(s), virtually as many as you want
of course, all of these will be fullsized and moved to the background; so, you are the responsible on how to show/hide them
the online demo has three slideshows managed by the [rz] Layers II extension

Re: FullScreen Proportional/Background Pack *** UPD May-21-

Post by [RZ] »

have you carefully read my post???
you can have as many instances as you want!!!
again
drag and drop the extension one, two, three times or even more
in each instance of the same extension, add each object id
that's all
which part is unclear for you?

lets say you drag and drop the fullsize ext many times and you name them as follows
fs_1
fs_2
fs_3
fs_xyz

and you have two image objects named as follows
myimage_1
myimage_2_abc_or_what_you_want

and you have another two slideshows instances named as follows
myslideshow_x
myslideshow_z_or_what_you_want

(as you may know, each slideshow can have dozens (hundreds?) images)

in fs_1 you point to myimage_1
in fs_2 you point to myslideshow_x
in fs_3 you point to myslideshow_z_or_what_you_want
in fs_xyz you point to myimage_2_abc_or_what_you_want

so, what's your problem? :?

Don't hate me for asking this question but is there anyway to have the pic grow (as the monitor is widened) from a single side (bottom, top, left, right) as opposed to the center?
Just curious. Thank you in advance.

Post by [RZ] »

* New in v1.1.0.0

-Pivots support to make size and position adjustments with horizontal and vertical extra offsets in fixed pixels or percentage.
-Support for wb9 Slide Show object with image captions.
-Optimized objects handling for better performance with the Slide Show object.
-Can be used as a whole page background or even within a [resizable] layer context; backgrounds can be attached to target objects - auto: setup itself to its context (body/layer, depends on where the object was placed); body: setup itself as the body background; body layout: setup itself to be only the background of the scheme (applies i.e. to centered pages); entering manually an object id, attaches the background to that specific target object (i.e. text objects).
-Improved single image size handling and optimized algorithm for android based mobiles.
-Optimized keyboard/focus handling.
-Optionally can add a pattern that covers the whole Image or Slide Show (also applies for the video extensions in this pack).
-Single images, slides and navigation controls images cannot be dragged.
-Option to activate captions when the mouse is over the navigation control was deprecated and removed.
-The same instance/configuration can point to multiple Image and/or Slide Show objects (the objects ids must be comma separated).
-Improved backward compatibility (also supports ie5quirks mode!).
-Improved [rz] vPatch extension code for better compatibility with 3rd party code.

* New in v1.0.0.3 (May-21-2013)

-Support for wb9 Slide Show object with navigation controls.
-Smaller code for the resize algorithm.
-Added further detection for mobile devices.
-Improved startup.

this is a four extensions sets
one of them is an add-on for both the standard wb image object and wb slideshow
for even more options perhaps this may be useful: http://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/view ... 53&t=56261

as your question is not clear, i will try to guess
if you want to add a slideshow, enter a slideshow
if you want to have a single image, use a single image
in the extension instance enter the image object id

sorry for my english :( will try to explain better
all i want is an image background
i have the image like image.jpg
i did not add it to the page, hence i dont have the object id i want it as background, not as part of the page
should i add it to the page and hide it? what you suggest? all what i want is a full 100% image for the background

seems your problem is not the english language... ;)
sit down, relax, read the first post, or read the attached info file...

from the 1st post:

[rz] FullScreen Background

1. Automatically converts an image object into a fullscreen proportional background.
2. Also works with the standard SlideShow object.
3. Multi-instance.
4. Lightweight.
5. Unobtrusive, this means that slideshows or image objects preserve their normal functionality such as events/links/etc.
6. W3C compliant.

How to use?

1. Drag and drop an Image object or a SlideShow object.
2. Drag and drop this extension and enter the object to convert.
3. Publish or preview.
4. Enjoy!

Is it possible to use [rz] FullScreen Background and [rz] FullScreen BG YouTube in the same page, but that the image background is in front of youtube background?
Or (alternative), is it possible to strech image to full screen if that image is not background of layer or page?

as you can (=should) read in the info file and in the online info, the extension works with images and slideshows, not with the layer background image (strictly html/css speaking), of course you can make both the images and slideshows be the background of a layer, as in the online demos
the youtube can optionally have a pattern or if you want to manage yourself other modes, you can place images over the videos
all the included extensions in this pack are multi-instance, so is up to you how you want to manage your backgrounds
with regards

Hi. Any idea why the background image covers all the screen for iphone 6 plus? Works ok for desktop and all other mobiles but for iphone 6 only the image background looks like cover all screen with objects cant see any other element in the same page... any available solution to make the background stick to "background" behind the other objects??

Yes and works fine. Only in iphone 6 seems the background z-index covers all the pafe elements and streashes over the whole screen regardless to what is in the page

yes it was set to "body" i will try to change it to "auto" and try again, both seems on desktop cover the background correctly, but can't try them on iphone 6 for now.

for to recreate the issue, create a page, add the full background image, put as "body" and it will work as background for desktop and most of the mobiles but in iphone6 does cover the whole objects and shows affront of the everything else which means the background is over the the objects

hope i could explain it and sorry for bad english

I would like that [r] FullScreen BG YouTube has one more option to pattern image than I can stretch pattern image to full screen or full layer.
So, with standard background "repeat" option, I'd like the option "stretch" if is possible?

In my footer signature have a link to my page. You will see how I did it in the layer .. I want to do the same widescreen.

if you stretch the pattern, instead of repeat, will not be proportionally resized
the extension works in a different way to accommodate itself under the many scheme conditions
for advanced frame you want, you should use [rz] Stretchable Border: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=52270
