I'm jokeing! I don't mean to insult you. Sorry :)

I just want to say that I bought the plugin because I trusted you.
now I see the plugin is not what you say.
In the last 3-4 days I bought 8 of your plugins because I like them and because I want to support your good work, but every time I try to communicate with you, I'm in trouble. Maybe it's me. :/

* New in version 1.0.0.1:

- Improved actions definition on scroll-down/up events.
- Join object: Optionally, sticks an object below the original one, this layer will not be hidden but slides with the main one; it is useful for advanced RWD schemes.
- Improved keyboard navigation behavior.

Thanks for update. Now I did almost like here: http://rekkiabilly.com/
... but still I don't know how to set plugin that:
- slider is closed when page scrolller is on the high end
- slider is open when page scroller is not on the high end

... or maybe have another way to set that slider works on the same way like here: http://rekkiabilly.com/
Is it possible to set in pixels point of site where the slider open/close?

:(

first of all, do not use a page header object, as it is stated in the instructions, is for use with master objects or layers (you can use even a text object, but never a page header because it has its own functionality, although it may behave correctly, i would not use this type of object)
in scroll category enter:

up: action -> none
down: action -> open
down: size -> 450
top: action -> close
top: size -> 300

about the size values abovementioned, play with them until you want the desired effect

Re: [rz] Top Slider

Post by naftalina »

Now I have another problem that probably does not depend on the top slider.
So, everything works great when I scroll manually, but when I put in the layer menu and when I use "Smooth Scroll" or "UPS" then wont working properly.
Please [rz] be nice and check does this working well with your extension "Elegant Scroll" or maybe is fault in my seting.

Thank you :)

it is not a bug in the extension, it is done on purpose to allow keyboard navigability and follow the standards
when you click on an object that has a link, usually the link gets the focus
when an object contained in the layer you want it to slide,and that object gets the focus, the extension detects if a contained object has the focus, in that case the object won't be closed
you can do this simple test: if you press the tab key, the menu will get the focus causing the layer on top to be opened; this allows to see all the available navigation options
if you want to not have this feature and as you want the menu to be always visible, and in the layer to have a logo or the like, just add an additional layer and enter its id in the "join" layer property, as in the online demo, and include the menu in that "joined layer"

no, because when you scroll the contents then the other objects will overlap it
(anyhow you can do this manipulating specific objects with your own script)

Scroll and you'll see what I want to do! I don't want to use Join Id option, just want triggered docking layer behind menu?
Maybe you have solution?

Can you make a plugin? :)
So, I need to make a regular layer that is transparent when is on the first position and has a background when is on the second position (on the top).
It would be nice to have options "fade in and fade out time".
This plugin would be combined with PFO, or would have their own option to fix it on desired locations.

So, only background of the layer should be transparent/visible.
Content of the layer must be visible all the time.

you don't need to put all these things altogether
what you need is a [rz] PAO instance (it has fade-in/out)
the fixed layer is transparent
the second fixed layer that has background and belongs to the [rz] PAO instance is below the first fixed layer

Just one more thing!
When I fix the layer with PFO then it can not be spread on 100% of the width?
... and when I scrolling with mouse wheel menu shaking.

I have made almost all the way I wanted. :)
I used a docking layer instead PFO to fix "background layer", so the fadeout effect is not 100% as it I wanted, but it does not matter.

BTW: I suggest that we now delete all the posts that not related to Top Slider? :)

i'm trying to find a solution for a sort of annual subscription that includes all the extensions as they are when released or all the extensions plus updates (kind of 2 plans), depending on what you choose
Sounds interesting, got an idea on pricing for this, I would be interested if the price range is in my budget.
Perhaps you could go with something like: Bronze - As are, Silver - Annual, Gold - Lifetime.

it is for customers who are not so good English and can write or read a good idé

Well, as long as you want to keep going I guess, its your products, if I die, it makes no difference, lifetime in software development usually means a few years up to how long the developer wants to keep on supporting. I have several software with lifetime updates, most are still going, one is still going after 10 years, a couple have gone by the wayside, no big problem, it all depends on the pricing.

a sample is a sample (sorry for the antonomasia)
a layer is the native wb object
you can have both the top slider and the joined layer together and you own layer leaning out besides of the custom specific lean out you can have for the layer itself

from the first post:
- Join object: Optionally, sticks an object below the original one, this layer will not be hidden but slides with the main one; it is useful for advanced RWD schemes.

if you have the last extension version you are able to do it easily

stop blaming me -both privately and publicly- when you do not know how -or do not want- to explain what you want to do!
a sample has a lot of variants and you still repeating and asking the same thing that i do not have any parameter about
if you do not follow even the basic steps stated in the attached guideline, i am not guilty and i have no way to help
so be clear and fair

Why now can send the sample to me.
I asked just one example.
I tell you again you just had a yes or no answer.
I've also been told that was the reason for my question is that little English is not so good and that google some words are not translated correctly.
You bombarded me with difficult technical questions is obviously not so convenient.
If you feel offended, I offer my exuses.
But maybe you should do the same to me because I asked you a simple question.
That you there so hard to do, I can do anything.

I will never buy something with you because I do not want this stuff.

i don't care anymore about your offending mails
and have no obligation to respond this nonsense post as you are still questioning and projecting your very personal issues instead of focus on the simple questions that have been asked to you by mail just and simply to being able to help you and target the best as possible the guidance to accomplish what you wanted
trying to change and manipulate this, is just an insult to my most basic intellect
the language barrier (often childish) excuse does not always help to simulate the bad predisposition
it is just a matter of open the mind
