use the secure senders list (hotmail settings)
contact forms are not "real" mails sent from a different email address, hence, hotmail treats them as spam/suspicious by default

There are no settings in the form that can prevent the email to go to spam. If that was possible the spammers would use the same settings...

Do not despair mate! I had the same issue, an easy fix and a more secure email to use in your form if your not using a form processor is:

33mail.com where you can create for free a disposable mail that Hotmail.com will not block etc.

https://www.33mail.com/ create an account, set your desired email name such as "saulmeza" and then use a disposable email in your form or processer such as "contact@saulmeza.33mail.com"

33mail takes care of it all, I have had no issues in the last 12 months of use, since I joined. Hotmail accepts the mail from 33mail.com with no issues.

Hope that helps
Cheers
