Layout Grid Margins

Post by gofrank » Wed Jun 20, 2018 1:04 am

When I specify a margin for a layout grid in my project, the setting does not "stick". No margin appears and when I return to the margin setting dialog, the values are back to zero.
  1. Add a layout grid to a blank page
  2. Open the properties for the grid and double-click the right frame.
  3. On the Style tab, add a solid black border 3px wide. Click OK. Click OK to close the grid dialog.
  4. Right-click the grid and choose Margins... from the context menu.
  5. Enter a right margin of 10px. Click OK.
  6. Right-click the grid again and choose Margins... The 10px setting has returned to zero.

A layout grid can only have top or bottom margin.
The left/right margin is used to implement the gutter of the grid, so this cannot be changed.
