Responsive menu in embedded page is transparent on page when published

Post by ccengine » Mon Jul 16, 2018 11:15 pm

Hi,
In all the pages of my website I use the Embedded page to let every age look the same.
In this embedded page I include 2 title texts, a logo, the menu and a Responsive menu.
This Responsive menu is only visible when inside the 320 breakpoint.
All works fine, but when published, the Responsive menu items look transparent and are almost not touchable.
It seems the browser is ignoring the Z-index value of the menu (which is 9999).
The only way now to make this work is to move the Responsive menu out of the embedded page and put it on the actual page itself, moved "To Front".

Am I doing something wrong here?
Any help much appreciated!

To move the menu to the front, you will need to move the 'embedded page' object to the front.

I already tried that, but in the embedded page contained a Shape as a background and that moved also to the front, vovering the texts and images. As the website was built (back in 2008) as from WWB version v3 (I now use v14), techniques evolve and responsive design came around.

Currently, I'm not happy with my construction. Any new page I create requires many steps to complete for all breakpoints (I have 3, some even 4).
What I need is a much simpler concept/construction, but I'm struggling with which objects to use.
I have tried Flexgrid, Layoutgrid, and some more.
Besides that, I am unable to find a good responsive photo slide show for the Photo pages. But that's another story ;-)

My requirements for new pages are:
1. Every page should have the logo on the top left, the title on the top right and a "fixed" menu on the left.
2. For the mobile version of the page: a mini logo on the top left, same title on the top right and a "fixed" Responsive Menu below that.
You can see what I mean here: https://decrommeleeck.nl/nieuws/2018/07 ... nd_mee.php
3. Little effort for me to create a new page with new texts and photos.

Do you have an idea what I can use best in WWB? I would like to use some sort of "master page" as the background having the logo, title and menu, and on every page I can put the texts and images.
If you like, I can send you a copy of my WB project file so you can see what I mean.

Many thanks in advance,
Jeroen

There is no 'best' option, I think it is personal taste,
You can read more about the available responsive layout methods here:
