Copy and paste in a layer.

Post by Lasa » Thu Oct 25, 2018 3:02 pm

I don't know if I'm copying / pasting wrong ...
Sometimes when I copy an object which is on a layer and paste it. it appears to be ok but if I look in the Object mgr. its no part of the layer.
Because it's not part of the layer it obviously behaves differently from the layer object.
I then need to cut and paste it again... something like that.

Any ideas? It's inside the layer but it isn't part of the layer?

Cheers,
Lasa

it seems weird.. If I put paste in place it appears in place but its not on the layer. other times its somewhere totally different like the top of the page.
I'm on windows 10 (in case that makes a difference)
What is the proper way to copy an object that is part of a layer have the paste also appear in the layer.

Cheers,
Lasa

You cannot directly paste object on a layer, you will need move them on the layer.
