Make HTML Object responsive

Post by donjohnson24 » Sun Nov 11, 2018 4:16 pm

I am using an HTML object to contain an HTML5 audio Player rather than the provided tool as I wish to have Autoplay included/excluded by the use of a php variable:
<audio src="http://www.melright.com/music/midi/heideck.mp3" id="MediaPlayer1" <?php echo $play;?> controls></audio>;
It works fine, but the controls display is not responsive.
Looking at the page HTML, it seems that width needs to be set to 100% rather than the number of px's taken from the object size.
Is there any way for me to achieve responsiveness ?

The HTML object is responsive, which means that it can have different sizes in breakpoints.
However when using a div, the size is not flexible. If you want that then you will need to include the div container for that yourself.

Thanks for the super prompt reply - I though that you were supposed to be taking it easy on Sundays ?

I tried some changes, but with no success I'm afraid.

The HTML object will published "AS IS", so making the code responsive is up to you.
The application does not know how your code works, so it cannot automatically modify it for you.
