Button With Text In Problem

Post by bubblegumweb »

Hi all,

I have used a "Button" as a Call To Action and it has some text in it via its property settings. Now when I have added all my breakpoints right down to 320 when viewing the buttons in design mode they are perfectly fine, yet I have recently noticed that when I send the button live on my website when viewed on a mobile screen the button text moves to the top of the button? The button size is the same all the way through the breakpoints yet when viewed live on mobile the text moves to the top in the button?

Can anyone please take a look at the Call To Action buttons on my website in the mobile view and inform me what I need to do to correct the text and to have it keep center in the button at all viewpoints when it is live.

Thanks

Hummm - I see what you mean. But, as Pablo says - we would need the WWB file to investigate. The page source doesn't show me anything odd (but maybe I'm looking in the wrong place - I'm not an expert)

Hi Alan,

thanks for the reply. How would I send the source file and to where for you guys to take a look at it?

Hi all,

I think I may have fixed the problem with the button text moving to the top of the button when viewed on smaller screens. I noticed that the buttons had a "Margin" of 10px assigned to the top and bottom of each button. I removed the margin settings and tested the site again live and I think all has now been corrected.

Please feel free to check it and confirm the text stays center within the button at different viewing ports.

Nope - on the next to smallest view, it still moves to the top of the button. On the smallest one, it disappears.

To show us the source, you need to package up (winzip?) the .wbs file and the folder with the same name. Put it somewhere like dropbox and post the link.
