ssl problems

last night i got an ssl for my site. www.divingincyprus.net and it wasnt really showing so my host made the redirect to make sure it's hitting the version with the https.

My problem is 4 or so of my pages in the sight show a greyed out box. i ask my server support and he told me:
Ok, now for the webpages you have that are showing the grey padlock, you will need to change your images, links, etc to use HTTPS instead. I am not able to guide you on this however, as that is web development.

Any help please

also my trip advisor widget has stopped since i got the ssl

The http:// links have been added by yourself, so you will need to update them to 'https'

For example

should be
https://www.tripadvisor.com/img/cdsi/im ... 8961-2.png

On viewing your site some pages show the padlock and some don't. This may (don't quote) related to you using a mobile version of your site and a full and the redirect not redirecting. Like Pablo you will need to change the url to https for the images. I also noticed may of your images have invalid naming ie they contain spaces this may or not cause you issues with ssl but it is always best to use valid naming.
When I click on the tripadvisor logo it opens in a "New" page not sure if this is how you wish it to work but as it is a third party script/widget so no help is offered (maybe another member/user can assist) if not you should contact them (trip advisor) for help on how to use on sites that use ssl as it may need to be modified.

been in to try and find any link out to another site and made sure is has a https link, just uploaded new version with changes. nothing has changed the same 4 pages and typically probably most important 4 are still grey on the web address bar

Then it is most likely a configuration issue with the ssl certificate on your server. If you have ensured all images/urls/links including any external scripts are using 'https' and are correct then it is not related to the use of the programme and you should contact your host server provider for further assistance.

The page still has many http links.

For example:

ive just been into as many images as i can find and take out all spaces. i cant seem to find the locations that you are listing for me.

The image is on the following page Try Scuba located bottom left it looks like you have hot linked to it by using the url of the image from tripadvisor and not a url of your own!.

im going square eyed here, it was staring me in the face. i am trying to make all these improvemnts but these 4-5 pages are not seeing any change in security status.

ive sat here for 5 hours now, cleaned up everthing i can see possible and no change on these pages ssl issue.

If you have any other things you can see that i can change ill get straigh on to it

There are still references to 'http'.
Just open the HTML code in the browser and you can easily find them yourself.

Please note that this has nothing to do with application, you have added those links yourself.

Also if you find some of these sites don't have https then you will have to upload their stuff to your site to stay within the ssl protection, with their permission, of course. Otherwise you'll keep getting errors. I've struck this before with videos which I transferred to youtube to be within the https environment.

gonna get this sorted today, i just opened up the developer tools in chrome and its showing me all the issues so im gonna get onto it as soon as get to my shop. Hopefully going to post a big smiley face here by the end of today.

I can see the error of my ways, that most of the problems are my links to my trip advisor reviews and a couple of my images have problems.

ive used the you tube tool to link my video and tis seems to cause a problem on the page

any ideas.

its going well on some of the pages i now have more green padlocks appearing

All green pages, i just took out the you tube vid and put a link instead .

Note that the built-in YouTube video object uses 'https' by default, unless you are using an older version of the software.

Got latest WB last week and used the youtube tool this morning but it caused that issue when i used it. i put a link on that page now and when i click on the you tube link there seems to be an issue with the video, but it plays perfectly fine as it should in you tube.

Do you have the latest update (12.4)?

Yes i got 12.4 last week. I saw that the you tube box was the issue so i deleted it, then checked that the error had disappeared.
What i did then is use version 12.4 to put in 2 new you tube boxes and put in 2 different videos just in case there was a problem with one of them and they both then came back with the same issue.

Just tried it to make sure and confirm the issues i get..

just open WB12.4 to a blank clean page, popped in a video with the youtube tool and using the https, pressed F5 and check the errors on the google developer tools console it gave me the same as yesterday.

I think you will need to publish the page to validate it. A local page is never 'secure'.
