*** SOLVED *** Failure on Update 14.0.2 May 24

Post by MorningLight »

Hi Pablo,

During the installation of the newer version (May 24) the installer send an "Error 183" , related to "cannot create an existent file".

The file affected is WebBuilder.exe

I'm updating my later version with the package available in DOWNLOAD section (full installer).

Regards,
David

The worst: my Web-Builder is not functioning and the entire folder is set without permissions.

I cannot execute it, I cannot change its permissions, I cannot do anything.

:(

There is no virus in the application (and there never has been). This is a false positive, a bug in your anti virus software.
Please add the application to the exception list or contact the maker of your anti-virus software for an update.

Pablo,

I don't think the problem is related to antivirus, since I'm doing several updates of WB without any error.
Anyway, I changed the status of SETUP and related files - no success at all.

I will try now disabling the antivirus...

Hmmm...

You were right.
Even marking all files as "Reliable" the Malwarebytes OR Kaspersky were blocking the EXE subscribing.
The update was conducted normally.

Thanks.
