How to approach "free ebook" button

Post by mrwillow »

Hi,

This is more a general 'how to' approach question. I'm developing a website, and in an effort to collect email addresses I aim to offer a free ebook. Standard marketing stuff. Can anyone point me to some thematic approaches to this, as well as how best to do the technical stuff with tools supplied by WB14? Any tutorials on YouTube to look at?

Thank you,

DC

What specific functionality are you looking for?
Do you want to create an ebook?
Or do you want to create a mailing list?

I'll create the ebook myself (or check out fiverr.com for the first time). The true intention is to build a mailing list (enticing the user with a freebie). So I'm looking for an approach on how to go about this, plus the mechanics of creating a tasteful button to go on appropriate pages of my website.

A mailing list is a script that you install on the server.

For example:
