Check out the demo and order page, it will explain everything:
http://www.friendlyspider.com/poll_maker
This is a simple polling, poll or voting template that you can import and utilize in your existing site. It is set up for adaptive responsive but the elements can easily be copied and dropped into any type of website. It is extremely lightweight, does not require a form or email input, but also does not allow for excessive voting without coming back to the voting page. It uses one WebBuilder extension, a couple of PHP scripts and one small javascript file and is extremely customizable. There are 3 pages: The voting page, a hidden code page for each vote selection, and the results page, where the user is sent after voting and which shows the current tallies. Any number of items can be listed for voting though only one selection or vote can be made per visit to the voting page. Just check it out.

Additional...
Note that this "template", while fully functional as website, is very lean on design and graphics because it is primarily intended to be incorporated within your own website. By keeping it very lean - there is a bare bones version supplied in the zip - it is easy to implement. You can drop your own design work on top of these pages, depending on the type of responsive website you need, or customize your own pages with the template's objects and code additions.

Re: poll, polling or voting template
Hi,
Your script doesn't seem to bar/block multiple SPAM voting.
I tried :http://www.friendlyspider.com/poll_maker/index.php voted and again visited http://www.friendlyspider.com/poll_maker/index.php and voted...in fact many times.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes. But it doesn't allow for an easy back-up with the browser and if you don't give the user a return link back to the vote page like I did for the demo, then it's not nearly so easy.
But... because I'm aware of the same need... drum roll please...
We now have Easy Poll with Validation !
http://www.friendlyspider.com/poll_make ... validation
This will slow down the repeat voter especially in conjunction with leaving off the return link.
Now... if you want an email requirement, sure, I can add that to the validation form. I'm not sure it's a good idea though as a lot of folks are going to back away from anything requiring their email address.

Re: poll, polling or voting template
I am using chrome....I entered your captcha validation page..authenticated > voted > reached the result page...perfect.
But there are two options:
The link on the result page "Vote Again"
Even if you remove that...just hit the browser 'Back' button once or twice and viola I am again on the vote page and I can vote.
The point is to not to allow humans too to post multiple votes

Ok... try that back button now ! I just added some javascript to stop the page from reloading from the browser back button.me.prosenjeet wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2017 6:54 am Even if you remove that...just hit the browser 'Back' button once or twice and viola I am again on the vote page and I can vote.

Sure there is another workaround for someone really wanted to slant the vote, but without implementing an email requirement or cookies and some invasive code... I thinks this might do. What do you think ?

Hmmmmm. Either you are using the cached version and haven't loaded the page with the code.me.prosenjeet wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2017 7:50 am Hi, Strangely, the back button still works for me I could vote as many times as I want. Thanks, bye
Or... you just might be on a version that I had inadvertently linked to at one point. Make sure you are on this version:
http://www.friendlyspider.com/poll_maker/
I tried on both Firefox and Chrome and no matter how I click or sputter the mouse, I can't reload the voting page from the results page using the browser's back button. The code seems rock solid. I'll get some more testers to put it through it's paces.

Check out this polling demo using 10 image choices - it's the famous Rorschach test ! (not RadioShack, Rorschach)

Don't let the human/robot test scare you away. It's just there to demonstrate a technique that slows down repeat voters for those cases where you might want to. It could be posed as a question relating to your club or organization - a password.
