*SOLVED* How to make text object "Fade" as Carousel progresses

Post by etcbbu » Sat Jun 09, 2018 5:46 am

So I'm developing this site:

https://talsichristianschoolfoundation.org/test/

And I have that Carousel toward the top of the page that scrolls through some images. But if you'll notice, on the fifth iteration, there's a big white text that says "Empower". I would honestly like to have a White-text word like that on each of those 5 Carousel pages. But I would like the text on each Carousel page to "fade-in", as the Carousel slides to the various images. Here is an example of a website that does this:

https://childshome.org/

I figure it's probably in the Text object's "CSS3 Animation" Animations I need to configure. But where/which one/how, to make it "fade-in" like that, whenever a Carousel page slider goes to the next image on the Carousel?

Is it impossible to do this since I have mine on "Full Width" mode?

I feel like I am editing the "Events" on my Carousel properties correctly, to fade in "Text1" and "Text2" that you see there on my Fifth Carousel Page:

https://talsichristianschoolfoundation.org/test/

Those big two pieces of text that say, "Empower".

Buuuuut it's not seeming to do any sort of transition..?

And I notice that on the page you sent me, http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/carouselevents.html , it is leaving "full width mode" un-checked, and so that's what makes me wonder. Is this just impossible to do when you have a Carousel like I have, here, that's full-width..? Here's a screenshot of my settings, from within my .WBS file:

I do not think this is related to full width mode, but there may be another conflict
I need the project file to be able to help you.

Before you share the project please remove all non-relevant content from the project. Only the settings of the Carousel and its content are relevant.

Pablo, thank you so much for agreeing to look at the. WBS File:

Can you please tell me if you are available for the link to download the project right now? As soon as you post, I'll post the link. But if you could then tell me when you downloaded it, I'd like to take down the file as soon as you have it.

Buuuuut it's not seeming to do any sort of transition..?
You only have added one event, to show the text.
However, the text is already visible, so nothing will happen.
So, you will first have to hide to text.

As you can see in the tutorial, all elements will be hidden when another slide is activated.
Then the next time the slide becomes active again the show animation will be triggedred.

Pablo, beautiful. Makes perfect sense. I got it working exactly how I wanted--even giving those "Hide" commands you have to do for the rest of the Carousel slides' transitions.

Absolutely perfect--and gives me an entire new tool in my tool-belt, essentially; I think I'd know how to do this with any objects on a Carousel like this, now.
