Looks like you may have set the form to use 'mailto' please see the following url regarding this and the use of richedit
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/ ... 10&t=32967
Read from:
Why shouldn't I use 'mailto' in the form action?
How to format the email message sent by a form
If not then please provide a demo project (basic) just the form with the settings used.

It is difficult to help you, without seeing what you have done.
If you need further assistance then please share a demo project (wbs) so I can see your settings.
Also, include the URL of the page to see if there are any errors in the browser.

I think you mean comply! Is this the url to your site? https://allanux.co.za/ looking at it you have inserted invalid or custom code in the page there is also no reference to a form in the html there is only a editbox and a submit button but no form (referring to the footer).
Please remove all custom or third scripts as this will break the generated html of the page it also explains why it is not working..

Please also note that there is no help with on how to use third party scripts.
Please read the following from 6, 7 and eight
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1901
In this instance remove the code you have added between the <html !remove code you added!> tag and the code you have added after the </html>
remove all code inserted here!

There is also no reference to a form in the HTML at the following only the editboxes and submit no <form></form>

I do not see any errors on this page. The form seems to be working.
What do I need to do to see the problem?

Also, if you need further help then please share a demo project

when editing one of the controls within a form ie under the "General" tab, is the "Max length" box the number of letters (characters) or number of words? Same for the "Validate" tab, next to "Data length" Min/Max is this number of letters (characters) or number of words?

The max length is the number of characters.

This is from the help (F1):
Max. Length
Specifies the maximum number of characters a user can enter into the editbox.
