Superscripted "registered" with large fonts looks aweful

If you jack up the font size in Times Roman to say 48 (as in a banner) then add 'registered' symbol the symbol is still far too large in spite of being being automatically reduced down to 33 font size. The symbol is also too far away from the word that is registered.

Turning text into a picture works but performs incorrectly when responsiveness is needed.

I understand that these issues are how browsers work but if anybody has a fix for web builder preserving the use of text I would be most grateful.
