Yes I too find this forum confusing and I've been on many forums.
In the FAQ section we are advised to click on "New Topic" yet nowhere is there ANY indication of a link called "New Topic" I purchased this software wysiwyg version 16 yesterday and have nothing but problems first accessing this forum, then losing tools from within the program and now I have to spend countless time trying to figure out how to create new topic in this forum or is there another charge for that???

Not sure why everyone is finding it difficult to find the new topic button.

1. Simply make sure you click on the 'board index' link at the top to take you to the main page.

2. Look at the Main Categories (General Questions, Responsive Web Design, etc) and click on the category you want to post your question in (make sure it makes sense for that category).

3. At the top of the topics, there is a button that says "New Topic" with a pencil icon. Click that to begin your question.

Buying the software does not setup your account for this forum. As shown above, you need to "register" for it. Which is, free.

I think he / she has can't say if a order number has been used. The link was just to show the images and how to to start a 'New' thread /post in the sections you wrote in your reply... Like you I don't understand why it is so hard to make a "New" thread!!

Likewise I had some difficulty but once I found the 'New topic' button and the 'Post a reply' button it all made sense.

However, I still haven't worked out how to add an image Image or to add a an url . If I try to drag and drop or copy and paste a photo, for example, between the Image indicators, it just opens the photo in a new browser tab.

As a relatively new user it would be very helpful to have instructions on how to use the site to include explaining how to use all the features - while most are self explanatory; others are not .

Would someone please explain how to add an image and a url. I need to use it for another question and a new post I need raise.

Thanks in advance.

Uploading images to the forum has been disabled for security reasons. If you need to share a image there is a few ways to do so.
1. Upload the image(s) to your own host / site and provide a link
2. Use one of the many free public image hosting such as https://imgbb.com/ and provide the url generated.
3. If you use the likes of Dropbox then again you can upload the image and provide the link.
Note: For urls you should use the full path example: http://www.theurlyouwishtouse.com
For images example: http://www.yoursite.com/theimagename.jpg wrapping within the

Thanks for the reply.

I was not aware that the Add image and Add url had been disabled.

Thanks for the information on how to make my website available for postings.

Might I suggest that a popup message when anyone clicks on the buttons with the suggestions you gave to me would help others like myself.

Thanks again for your help.

It is only the attachment of images that was disabled. But it is still possible to upload the image to one of the mentioned methods and provide the url to it. The same applies for urls to external links you need to show such as a link to your site ect.
