The page and the folder name

Post by nxr »

I need to be able to set the folder name identical as page name.
E.g. "flowers.html" and folder "flowers".
WWB doesn't allow me to.

I have an old website which I would like to do anew at WWB.
But I have a lot of backlinks, which i will lose after folders or pages renaming.
I know I can do redirects, but it won't be the same.

Besides, in the browser, passing addresses "https://flowers.html -> https://flowers/tulips.html"
looks much better than e.g. ""https://flowers.html -> https://flowers2/tulips.html"

I didn't know where to post this message.
It would be more suited to "Suggestions/Improvements", but maybe I don't know about some functions that make it possible to solution of my problem (?)

I'm sorry, this is currently not possible.
You can post suggestions in the 'Suggestions' section of this forum.
If more users find this useful then I will consider it for future development.

Thank you for your reply.
I am adding my request to the suggestion section.

At the same time, I wanted to thank you for great work which is WWB.
I have been using your product for many years and it keeps getting better.
I hope it will not change, which I sincerely wish you ( and us - users ).
