There is a tool called plugin which when selecting a file directs to the format pdf which is kind of weird.
What is the use of this thing called "Plug In" in relations of pdf although there is an extension for viewing pdf. The name seems a bit misleading and should have been named from plugin to pdf viewer.
There is something called parameters and plugin page with auto start loop hide. But potentially speaking never seen anything on wwb templates making the use of this thing.

It is not specific for PDF.

Pluginspace has been deprecated in HTML5, but is still available for backward compatibly reasons.
