Adding new Blocks in Quick n Easy Web Builder

Post by EwanB »

Hi - firstly apologies if this is a dumb question or one that's been answered before.

There are lots of nice new additional blocks in WYSIWIG that you can download from the site - and add in. I've downloaded them, and tried copying them into the blocks folder on my Mac - which all works fine - however the new blocks don't show up in the app.

Are the WYSIWIG (PC) blocks not compatible with Quick N Easy (Mac) ? - or am I doing something dumb (totally possible).

Thanks to all in advance.

Quick 'n Easy Web Builder is a different application and uses a different document format. Files are not interchangeable.
However, you can export projects from WWB to QWB format via the "Save As" menu

So, you can convert the blocks like this:
- create a new project
- add the blocks to the page.
- export the project to QWB format
- open the exported project in QWB and save the elements as blocks
