Several things not working on WYSIWYG 16

Post by vanndammo »

Hi. I’m not sure if it’s my computer that doesn’t have enough memory, if the computer is clogged up and making WWB16 run bad (shouldn’t be I’ve deleted cache) or there is another problem, but I can’t get pages to import between projects. I have done this many times in the past and know the process, but no matter how many times I try the screen just stays the same and no page is imported. Also I am unable to do global replacements on any large images.

Is there a minimum amount of memory this software needs or a way to find any error logs. I’ve been using the software since wwb12 so don’t think I’m doing things wrong

Thanks

Works fine on my system. Choose import from other project, tick the box next to the page I am importing and click import. Pops right in. Perhaps a restart of Windows would help?

There are no known issues with the latest update otherwise they would have already been fixed.
If you think you have found a problem then please share a demo project and describe the exact steps to reproduce this behavior.

Hi pablo thanks for responding. Here is a link to a video I made of me trying the request on WWB16. Please note I have now also done several windows restarts, deleted and reloaded a fresh version of WWB16 and had a massive clear out of any unwanted programms etc.

You have to click the tick box not double click the page name.

In your video, you have only highlighted the page name.
You will need to click the checkbox in front of the page name to select it for import.

I’ve got another question but I may need to start a new post so others can see it in the future? It’s regarding saved blocks not resembling what is being saved. I have a video of that also

Although a video is great and did show what you where doing wrong it is always best to provide a copy of the project. By doing this it allows it to be opened in the program and checked and answers given.

Sorry, but the project contains third party extensions so I cannot load it.
Can you please remove everything from the project that is not relavant to your question?

the extension is not part of what i have given you, but the template was made with it runnning in the back ground to control responsive bullets. i cant take it out, but here it is if you want to add it. if you wont it doesnt matter.

To remote the extension from the project:
- open the page
- find the extension in the Object manager, remove it from the page
- re-upload the project.
