step by step how to publish

Post by kar-agnus »

Hello,

1. Can you send me the step by step on how to publish/upload our site ?
2. Is it okay to save a copy of WWB in a flash drive ? if so, what's the right way to save a copy ?
3. In Wysiwyg Web Builder Help Lines and Tables are included in the list of objects that are not responsive.
Are Lines and Tables already responsive in WWB 16.3.1 ?

Thanks,

1. Please see this FAQ:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=36493

2. You should be able to save the project file anywhere you want.

3. A line is published as an image. The image only looks good for one size. If you it had a different size in another then the image would get distorted.

4. HTML tables are not are responsive, which means they have the same layout in all breakpoints. This cannot be changed because this is unrelated to WWB.
However, you can use them in layout grids to make them 'flexiible'.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.
What about a Devider, i use Devider 1 which is also a Line but inside a Layout Grid, i also use Features from the Blocks which has 3 small Lines on top of a paragraph, are they gong to be responsive ?

I tested our site using Firefox Responsive Design Mode and it looks responsive to me. i have 3 breakpoints 320, 480 & 1024. I just dont know if it's still responsive once our site is uploaded.

Thanks,

Are you referring to the "Line" in drawing tools or the "Horizontal line"?
My reply was related to the drawing line.
The "Horizontal line" is responsive.

You will need to select the type that your webhost supports. Only your webhost can give you this information.
The description is just for your own use. It does not affect the published website.

Hello,

From :
Publishing your web pages

Why aren’t my images displayed on a published page ?
Do your image filenames contain white spaces or other special characters? Image names with spaces can cause problems in some browsers and/or web servers, use underscores to connect words instead of spaces.
Question 1 :
Does this refer to the Title and Description inside the Photo Gallery ?
If you try to replace a space with an underscore of the Title for example : Light Green replace it with Light_Green
the underscore also appears when you preview the website and it does'nt look good.

I have 5 Photo Gallery with 4 and 3 photos in it and instead of using the ‘Title and Description’ inside the Photo Gallery I created a Layout Grid below each of the 5 Photo Gallery and that is where I added a Heading for the Title and Description of the photos.
Question 2 :
Will this cause any Publishing Error ?

Thank you

No, just make sure there are no quotes in the the text.
Will this cause any Publishing Error ?
No.

But what is the error when you publish?
Did you use the correct host settings?

If the code does not work for you then either the code has been placed in the wrong part of the page or there is a conflict with another script.

The following extensions are available:

ok thank you; it just showed up and started working.

Maybe it has to do with SFPT?
