Creating new "texture" images

Post by Beth »

I would like to know how I can create my own .png texture images to put into the TEXTURES file.

I know where the built in ones are and see that they are .png files and are 128 x 128 px in size but try as I may, I can't seem to add a new one that will work with the textures option.

And also, what about FRAMES and PATTERNS? Maybe the Patterns are CSS or something and can't be added to?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can create them in the likes of Photoshop. The same applies to frames, patterns. A good understanding of Photoshop will be needed on your part as this is something that cannot be taught here. If you own a copy then there is multitudes of tutorials available on Google and YouTube to get you started.
