Text formatting differently for unknown reason!

Post by charles m »

Hi there so this is hopefully really simple for someone!

I have created a website and noticed that some text displays different to others. All text is placed within panels. Formatting, Lucidia Console Font, Font Size 9 and Font Spacing 1.2. All aligned to the right. Full Width set to true.

It appears that the font size and choice of font come out as intended but the font spacing is different. I.e 1.2 in one section of font is completely different to another section of font which appears as much more widely spaced.. Ive tried all manner of things but can't seem to find a solution.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes

Charles

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project so I can see all your settings.

Note: I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Please see this FAQ for further details:

Many thanks Pablo

I have copied the text that is appearing differently onto the journal page as here;

https://meloy.co.uk/meloydemo/journal.html

You will see the body text is spacing differently...

The text under "present" has a line height of 14px where as the text under 'Hill House' has line height 22px plus has Letter Spacing of 0.07px added thus the difference in spacing.

1. Make sure if you are copying text you are not copying any formatting (like from word). You can hold shift down and paste to remove any formatting. You can also past the text to notepad and then copy it from notepad into WB.
2. Check each text box for the line height and letter spacing for each.
