Can someone try for me please ....

Post by brynj »

Start a new project and just drag the 'Wave Gallery' onto the page (with the default images)

When I do it with the default or my own images and preview or publish, the top left square is blank ! - does anyone else see this or are your pictures complete ?

Thanks

It seems to work for me.
Maybe one of your images has an invalid filename?

OK thanks - now I know it works for others I can look deeper (not sure its a name thing as the default images produce a blank as well and I assume they are correct - but i will check them as well) - anyway at least I know its my end.

Thanks guys

Sorry to be a pain - I am using Firefox 96.0 and I get the missing square. Trying in Edge, Chrome and Safari I get a complete picture.

Did anyone try in Firefox ?

Thanks

p.s. I should have said its when the image is enlarged - on the multiple screen its complete but when you click on a small image to enlarge is when the top left square is missing.

What is the file name of the problematic picture?

If you add the 'Wave Gallery' to a blank page it comes pre-loaded with images as a sample. All the default images produce the blank square top left (full size image only), If you go to the 'Object Properties' you can see the names of all the images (they all give the same result).
If I add my own images I get the same result, which suggests its a issue between the Wave Gallery and Firefox - as it works correctly for me in other browsers. Unless someone can tell me it works in their firefox browser (95 or 96 version)

Some of the default image names are;
nyc1.jpg
nyc2.jpg
london1.jpg
sydney1.jpg
etc

Thanks

Ya I can confirm this in Firefox, after clicking the image the top left is missing on the refreshed gallery.

In 95.0.2 and 96.0.

Thanks jerryco ...

Pablo - do you think this is something that can be fixed in Wave Gallery or is it just something that Firefox has broken so just hope a future update from Mozilla will fix ?

Thanks

It seems to be a bug in Firefox. For some reason it does not support "transform: translate(0px);"
But I will try to find a workaround.
