Layout: buttons vs questions
Layout: buttons vs questions
Friend Pablo, I tried to put questions and buttons inside the same line (layout grid) but I did not get a nice layout (lines and buttons scrambled, see in http://www.carlosmartins.com.br/_privat ... lasse2.htm)
To make a form with several questions and buttons (one underneath the other) I have to put each question and each button in separate lines (layout grid). In a long form this method is very labor intensive. Please, would you have some easier method? Any tips?

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
I cannot see what you have done based on the HTML code only.
Please create a demo project to demonstrate what you are trying to do and then post a link to the file in your reply.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Please, follows an example (I changed on the same page as the example above) where each button is under each question ... I used a grid layout for each question and button. See in http://www.carlosmartins.com.br/_privat ... (temp).htm
Thanks, Pablo.
Thanks, Pablo.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Please share your project file so I can try to help you.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Dear Pablo, I sent the project to your e-mail. Thank you so much.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Thanks for sending the project however I don't think there is an easier way.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
OK, Pablo. Anyway I thank you for the consideration and help.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Friend Pablo, please: - When my website (www.carlosmartins.com.br) appears on the smartphone screen, the width of the top menu bar and the footer bar is greater than the page width. That is, a vertical white stripe appears on the right side of the screen, but I don't know how to solve this. Thank you very much and a HAPPY 2021!
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
I cannot see what you have done based on the published page.
But it looks like you have used an embedded page width with fixed width.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Dear Pablo, I initially used a template for my website. I don't know if the header (menu?) existed before, but now I don't know how to modify the header configuration (embedded page width with fixed width?). I searched in the WWB "Help", but unfortunately I didn't find the solution. Can you help me?
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
To be able to help you, I need a demo project.
I do not need the complete project. Only a small demo with the header/ footer, so I can see the settings.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Dear Pablo, I really appreciate your help. However, if possible, I would like to ask a favor: - My website project is a small file (198KB). Would it be possible to send it to you by email? Sorry, but recently hacked my Google Drive and I was unsure about sharing links etc.
Obs. My email is consultor@carlosmartins.com.br
I thank you for your understanding,
Carlos Martins

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Dear Pablo, thank you very much for your help!
When my website appears on the smartphone screen it shows a white side banner (this only appears on a smartphone) *
The website menu is an "Embedded Page" created inside a "Page Header" with a "Master_Page1". I already tried to deselect "Embedded Page is a layer" but I was unable to solve the problem. *
Once again, I appreciate your understanding and support,
My greetings,
Carlos Martins
* Obs. I sent the images that describe the problem to you.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Step 1
Uncheck ‘"Embedded Page is a layer’ in the properties of the Embedded page object, otherwise it will have a fixed size.
Step 2
Go to Tools -> Options -> HTML and uncheck ‘Keep inline styles’
Also, note that Master_page1 uses fixed layout (no layout grids), so the menu is not flexible.

Dear Pablo,
Unfortunately the problem remains.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
I did this with your project and it works for me.
Please make sure you did not skip one of the steps.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Sorry, Pablo.
The two steps you suggested are very simple to do and I did, but it didn't work for me. If possible, you can check my website on your smartphone (www.carlosmartins.com.br). I tested it on three browsers and the problem remains.
There was only doubt about the "...Master_page1 uses fixed layout (no layout grids), so the menu is not flexible." But I think that, for now, we have no solution for that.
Anyway, I appreciate your support.

Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
Pablo, this is not a serious problem. Please don't worry about me.
Re: Layout: buttons vs questions
For me, the footer of your website now works correct. So, that has been fixed.
So, if you do not want to use a flexible header then you will have to add breakpoints, to make sure the menu stays within the viewport.
If you have a fixed header or menu than this conflict withs the rest of the (flexible) layout.Master_page1 uses fixed layout (no layout grids), so the menu is not flexible." But I think that, for now, we have no solution for that.
