Hyperlink Lightbox (Fancybox.net - MIT/GPL license)

Post by Nomad Soul »

This extension allows you to place up to 5 hyperlinks in a page which open a WYSIWYG Web Builder 8 lightbox and display a specified URL.

There are 2 extensions, one which is used to define the properties for each lightbox (width, height, title, overlay) and another for each hyperlink (text, font, size, link, title, id).

Full instructions on how to use this are in the included PDF. The original script is from www.fancybox.net and provided under the MIT and GPL free public licenses.

I've only just purchased WB8 and joined the forum so this was just testing the extension builder but might be useful for people until it becomes a standard feature.

Please read forum rules before posting any extensions...you must provide a url to the original author site of any script used, read the copyright on the script and if it is allows to be distributed free!

from the rules In the extension:

1) Insert the link to the original script, website in the extension!
2) Write the original developer name in the extension.
3) Create a nice Toolbox bitmap if possible.
4) Use variables, do not make extensions to upload only files!

Hi

I put the developer name and link to Pablo Software and WYSIWYG Web Builder as the lightbox is part of the software (no external files used in the extension).

I've now changed this to Fancybox.net as this is the original provider I think. There is no specific developers name given in their website but the license says MIT and GPL which I believe are free to the public.

Then you should also post this in the topic of the extension. by this I mean please provide a reference to the authors site the url (Fancybox.net) and state the licence MIT and GPL this is just so users can visit the original site for further refernce to the original script.
