Layout Grid column sizes

Post by JayNicks »

For some reason I'm not able to have different column widths in and breakpoints.

For instance I have a layout grid that is sectioned like this (in default view)...2x - 4x - 4x - 2x. When I try to change this in another break point to 1x - 5x - 5x - 1x, it changes it to this the default view as well.

What am I missing here?

I tried doing this in a new document as well with just a layout grid and no other settings beside changing the column sizes between breakpoints.

Set the overflow to hidden.

I would suggest reading this:

Yup...that certainly worked. I had been sitting for at least a couple hrs comparing my settings to some of templates...and for some reason I did not see that setting.

Also following your link, I learned that you can hide columns as well which I didnt know about.

This is an amazing piece of software but it does feel like playing whack-a-mole at times, so thank you for you quick response.
