Hello
Always used layout grids for my pages but noticed flex container, which maybe better for the position of items and responsive design.
Would you say it is best to use flex containers, if yes what would be the use for layout grids as thinking wouldn't be good to combine the two.

Really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Without knowing the design you are trying to create it is hard to say which one is best to use. Both have pros and cons.
