What do you mean by that? and do you have an example of a so called advanced menu?

VistaButtons.com has 10000s of buttons
The use for 3-state buttons, Icons can be added to the created buttons
I just want this area to be looked into for improvements.

These buttons look like designs from the 90s.
But note that you can use custom images in the menu bar.

I think with the menubar you can come close to the look you want. You can use background images and padding to make the button look like the ones in your examples.
