Hi Pablo.
I have a problem. Just got a new PC with Windows 11. Before getting the new one I used another PC with Windows 10 for 9 years. With the old PC with Windows 10, everything was working great as it still does when making projects.
My external hard disk is the place where I have saved all projects during the years as well as the WYSIWYG Web Builder folder that contains the folders backups, images and system.
On my new PC I installed the same software as on the old PC - WYSIWYG Web Builder 20.2.3 (I saved the download in case).
The software then said something like:
The Project was made with an older Version of WYSIWYG Web Builder. Several other boxes showed up saying:
Install extension - 'Back Strech wbx' was not found.
WYSIWYG Web Builder will now attempt to download and install it automatically…
The 'backstrech' extension (klodeegen : Extension213092018) was not found….To continue anyway, click 'Yes' (use with caution!)
The Project could not be loaded…….
I pressed ok anyway and a lot was missing (including a lot of pages) and something else was added as well.
I uninstalled that Version v 20.2.3
I then downloaded from your site v 20.2.4 (Aug 24 2025) but the same thing happened.
So:
Old PC:
Windows 10 - everything worked using the PC itself and the external hard disk where all projects are saved and where the WYSIWYG Web Builder folder that contains the folders backups, images and system files are. Using WYSIWYG Web Builder 20.2.3
New PC:
Windows 11 - not working using the exact same external hard disk I have used for years. Using WYSIWYG Web Builder 20.2.4 (Aug 24 2025)
In the new PC with Windows 11 I went to Disk Management and changed the external hard disk letter to the same letter that's on the old PC (G:) so both PC's now has the same "name" (G:) in regards to the external hard disk.
I went back to the old PC yesterday and launched WYSIWYG Web Builder 20.2.3 and plugged in the same external hard disk and everything worked - all Projects loaded nicely as it has been doing for 9 years.
What do you think might be the problem Pablo?
Thanks so much in advance!

Re: Windows 10 to Windows 11 - projects not working
The error indicates that the extension 'Back Strech wbx' is missing and therefor the project cannot be loaded.
You will need to install the missing extension(s) first.
'Back Strech wbx' is not an official extension so it cannot be installed automatically. You will need to install it manually.
Since it is working on your old computer, the easiest way to make it work is by copying the entire 'system' folder (Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\) to the new computer.

Re: Windows 10 to Windows 11 - projects not working
Just to clarify, Pablo means the WYSIWYG system folder and not the Windows one.
