Looked through the forum and could not find anything specific to this.
I did the upgrade to 15 and it installed but it's a trial or purchase. I thought it was just an upgrade.

Do I need to remove 15 and reinstall 12?

Version 15 is an upgrade (not an update) from version 12.
However, it will not affect the WB12 installation unless you have installer it in the same folder.

it appears 15 ran on top of 12 so I just deleted 15 and 12 works fine.
What started this was a problem I have with 12 and changing FTP directories -- I get an error "status: 550 can't create directory file exists". Yes it does exist but I should be able to FTP into it. Tried other directories and same error 550.

I noticed with V15 I did not have this issue - it FTP'd into them no problem.

Please note that a 550 error is not related to the software in anyway at all. It generally means that the attempted file upload has been denied by the server due to permissions or insufficient account privileges on the remote FTP server. If it persists you should contact your host for further assistance.

Sorry to disagree Bacon but I think the OP is talking about the Publish log. If a file already exists on the server then the log does report "Status: 550 Can't create directory: File exists". This is normal and does not mean there is an error but just a note that the file exists.

Thanks Pablo. I noticed the FTP log said can't create already exists - but I ignore it as the rest of the FTP updates. I think in V15 it does not worry about a directory that already exists. So I'm good.
