layout grid page appears behind master frame

I'm working on rebuilding my site with layout grids. I've read the tutorials and downloaded, and have tried to use the settings of, your master_frames_layoutgrid demo project. When I preview the project, the content in the Content Place Holder appears behind the header of the master frame even though the Content Place Holder is placed below the header on the master frame. What have I done wrong?

Also, the drop down menu lists cut off at the bottom of the header. Is this fixable? Your demo does not use drop down menus so I could not follow that guide.

The project file is available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7lzxnyuovgp1f ... 0.wbs?dl=0

Thanks for any help you can give

If you share a demo project, can you please remove all non-relevant content?
The project has many pages so I have no idea where to start looking. To be able to help you, I only need a basic project so it's immediately clear what you have done.

I'm so dumb sometimes. I indeed prepared a version with just the master frames and a few pages with layout grids and then uploaded the wrong version. I'm sorry to have wasted your time with that. Here is the proper version, which I hope you can diagnose.

The page header is set to 'fixed' this will mean that it will be docked at the top of the page, overlapping all other content.
If you set it to floating then it will flow with the rest of the content.

Well, that did it, of course. Thanks for the quick response. I used fixed because that was the setting of the page header in the demo. What I didn't realize is that the demo looks like it leaves blank space for the header. Which is the better technique, or does it matter?

The demo uses a margin at the top of the first layout grid to create an offset.
