Uploading 90 Second Website Builder into WYSIWYG

Post by stevensiegel »

I am a new member of WYSIWYG. For years I have used 9* Se**nd Website Builder, which I understand to be the exact same software as WYSIWYG.
My current website was made with the 9* Se**nd product (version 9, yes, it's old). I should be able to open it in WYSIWYG to update and revise it, but WYSIWYG doesn't seem to recognize it, or otherwise let it be uploaded.

Has anyone had experience with 9* Se**nd Website Builder, to be able to tell me how to open it up in WYSIWYG?

Thank you.

I have never had this issue and I used to use 9* se**nd website builder before switching to WYSIWYG Web Builder perhaps if you share your project then others can see if they can open it for you and send it back to you.

I have web builder 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 so if I can open your project if you share it I may be able to save it using ver 17 and then send it back to you then you may be able to open it.

Although technically they may be the same product thats were it ends licence wise. Your licence (WWB9) was previously purchased from the now defunct 9* Se**nd Website which had nothing to do with WYSIWYG site here. With this said you should be to able to open it (the .wbs) with the latest version of WWB17 (licenced) unless you have used any extensions that you haven't reinstalled yet.

I would first ensure all and any extensions are reinstalled and try again, second if using the 30 day trial then it is not possible to open any .wbs (old/new) that may use extensions as it is a requirement to have a license (activated) to do so. Lastly please note WWB9 is no longer supported as it is extremely old now and if you have recently purchased WWB17 that you have activated it so that you can use it for the above mentioned regarding extensions.

Note to clarkep even it the op was to send you his project (.wbs) made with WWB9 and your were to open/save with WWB17 then he wouldn't be able to open it again in WWB9 as it is not backwards compatible due to "New" features in WWB17 meaning it would need to be opened in WWB17 again.
