That looks good. But is there anything to stop anyone from just registering? How do you control who can register?

Would this allow membership with an automatic timeout ? i.e. could grant membership for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc that then expired.

Yes it is very possible to limit who can register it could be through ip address or admin page

You can terminate membership through the admin page

I was looking for something that would authorise it once the person had submitted it.

Sorry wixily - its a great template and for free - i'm sure it will be a great help to a lot of people.

I made a login system myself with the style I want and the data I want very easily. I think pablo gives just the hint to do it our self if we can put the effort. As it is a free template it is AS IS. So expecting too much should be in exception.
