Hello

I have added a YouTube video to an icon also tried as an image in lightbox but the video refuses to show on the live site or in previewing.

I used the embed link and normal link, none show.

These are the links I used.

You are using different lightboxes on the page.
Please use one script per page.

I am using Vimeo lightbox for the Vimeo section and your video gallery for another section, that means I cannot use these two?

You can use multiple videos, but not with different lightboxes.
Lightboxes are third party scripts so it is not guarantee to work together. Use one type of lightbox per page.

Also, if something does not work then first try it on a simpler page without other content.

Thanks for the advice, I tried it on a plain page and still not showing.

FIX FOR YOUTUBE LINKS NOT WORKING:
Youtube is subject to change things without notice. Finding solutions is tricky and sometimes frustrating. Below I have provided possible fixes As of May 24, 2024

1. Uploading Online WYSIWYG webpage updates for live events. Sometimes you may get an error “Youtube.com refuse to connect”

When connecting live content, I found sometimes YouTube does not provide the correct webpage embedding command. Open notepad on Windows based computers and copy the link from the WYSIWYG YouTube interface box. Insert missing info “watch?v=” as in example below and paste into the WYSIWYG url box. It should now be working.

Updated: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG8DzYIikPo

2. Uploading WYSIWYG webpage updates of Youtube videos for Libraries and other pages. Sometimes you may get an error “Youtube.com refuse to connect”

The fix for this problem is to change the word …./live/ command line to …/embed/

Updated: https://youtube.com/embed/JNAoZx2nT8U
