WB 16

Post by Azz25 »

Hi,

Since upgrading to version 16 I am having some weird formatting issues. Example can be found at http://www.astwoodbankac.co.uk/fisheries.html. On first load all the images don't show, if you refresh the images show but some are smaller than they should be.

Thanks,

Aaron

Usually these type of errors are related to invalid files names.
- use lower case names only (.jpg, instead of .JPG)
- do no use spaces in file names.
Related FAQ: http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/ ... f=10&t=131

Also, it looks like you are not using the latest build of the software.
You can download the most recent build here (11/9/2020):

Thanks for the quick reply as always Pablo.

Just updated to latest version. All filenames are lowercase and have no spaces. Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Aaron

I still see the errors.
Did you republish all files?

Have now. I didn't publish before as errors were still there in preview.

Finally figured it out.

I am using layout grids, if grid system is set to flex box, as in v15, the error occurs. If it is changed to CSS it is fixed.

Thanks,

I'm sorry, but you are not using the latest update of the software.
Also, the uppercase of the images has not been fixed.

Invalid image names:
skilts.JPG
skiltssmll.JPG
asrthumb2.JPG
asrthumb.JPG

Based on the HTML code, it does not look like you are using the latest build.
If you open Help -> About does it display Nov 9 2020 ?

I hadn't uploaded new images with corrected names.

From your image you are not using the latest version 16.0.4 (Nov 2 2020) see the following for the latest.

Your screenshot indicates that you are not using the latest build.

My suggestions to solve the problem:
- install the latest update
- fix all invalid filenames

If that does not help, then can you please prepare a demo project so I can see all your settings?

Maybe your browser has an older version in cache?

I just had a look and there are still filenames with upper case. But it all seems to display OK (Firefox on WIndows 10).
