User Interface Fonts Solved

Post by StudentDonald »

It appears there is no way to change the size of the font. Tried lowering the monitor resolution, didn't help. Increased the scale, no change. Moved the blocks, or any other window to a second monitor, still didn't help. (I have a 32" monitor center and two 27's one on each side for CAD. So that's not the problem.) And yes, at age 76 I could wear readers, but I don't have to with all the other programs I use. (Still working full time.) So if I'm missing something I would be happy to hear that. If not, then I'm out, sorry, and will continue to use another program for new sites.
Best Regards

Have you tried Tools > Options > User Interface > Enable High DPI support (restart required)?

I think you are being a tad rude no-one has even said you should wear "Readers". Most issues you say you are having is most likely related to DPI settings please see the following: How to fix text size issues (DPI)? This should fix it for you..

Was just thinking, nothing implied. Also, well aware of the hi res DPI toggle and I don't have hi res monitors.
They're 1920x1080 and 2560x1440 max. Thanks for the reminder though. Setting not available on the blocks program?

OK, now I have to back up and this may sound strange. Everything is fine, lowering the resolution and increasing the scale makes the font larger with both Programs. What!?

I recently installed Eset antivirus and VPN, I forgot about the VPN. No sure how well either works with win10, have had some problems. Also, sometimes the nvidia video driver may conflict with the windows setting.

I uninstalled both programs and turned the computer off and took a break. Came back, changed some setting and turned off the VPN.
Re-downloaded and re-installed both programs and, no way, both work fine.
Interesting
