The wrapping of images and text onto new lines is caused by other CSS/styles on the page. You can't fix this within the module settings, but you could apply this in the magiczoomplus.css file:

.MagicZoomPlus { display: inline-block !important; }

We need a URL because the issue is unique - we have not seen it before (on hundreds of WYSIWYG sites). Our primary investigation showed that core file changes were required, but we will investigate again if you can send a URL.

Do you expect everyone to have a ' VERTCAL ' gallery only with no control in setting distance between images?
