Forms and emailing pictures.

Post by Bound_By_Physics »

Hi,

Can someone please let me know of a tutorial or a setting I need to alter to send uploaded multiple pictures so that they are attached to an email with the rest of the form info like name, email address and other text inputs. I can get them to upload to a folder on a server, but how can I get them to be sent along with the other info.

There may be a tutorial on here, but I did a search, and nothing came up, so I apologise If im wasting time here.

Thanks :)

Attachments are sent as links on the email which you get after submitting the form and the attachments go to a folder on your server. If one attachment, then one link if multiple then multiple links. Preview of it is not possible unless you go to email and click the link.

Example:

Name: ...
Email: ...
Message: ...
Attachment: [Link1] [Link2]

But I would still recommend uploading it as zip because so many people send so many attachments. It can have same name or even get lost in the folder with other files which is tedious to search. So, the most organized way would be to get all your media and files inside a zip and then upload that single zip as the attachment. A single link for multiple files.

If you leave the option 'upload files to a folder on the the server' unchecked then files will be sent as attachments.
